Chabot Space & Science Center, a Smithsonian affiliate, is an interactive science center whose mission is to inspire and educate students of all ages about our Planet Earth and the Universe. Based in Oakland, CA, Chabot Space & Science Center is the continuation and expansion of a public observatory that has served the San Francisco Bay Area with astronomy and science education programs for 120 years.
