Program Coordinators are essential to the success of Techbridge programs. These engaging, dedicated, and caring adults work closely with diverse urban middle school girls and their families to inspire them in science, technology, and engineering. Techbridge is seeking a Program Coordinator who will be responsible for coordinating and implementing after-school programs in its East Bay Schools. Coordinators can teach technology, engineering, and science skills, inspire confidence and leadership in girls, and have strong relationship-building skills – with students, teachers, families, role models and corporate partners.

Techbridge Program Associate, San Jose

Each Program Associate works alongside one teacher to co-lead after-school programs of 20-25 girls. Together they plan and co-teach weekly hands-on science, technology, and engineering activities using Techbridge curricula. Techbridge offers Program Associates the opportunity to make a difference in a girl’s future by engaging girls in educational experiences and providing career and academic assistance – with the ultimate goal of inspiring girls in science, technology, and engineering.
Interested candidates MUST be able to work the entire 2012-13 school year. During the school year Program Associates work between 10-24 hours a week. Hourly rate will be based on experience. Program Associates receive training and will have opportunities for professional development and growth.
