The word is out at Washington Manor Middle School that Techbridge is the place to be after school on Thursday afternoons. The girls started the year with some fun chemical engineering challenges where they made their own goo and developed a formula for the best super bouncy ball.  The girls then put their structural engineering skills to the test as the built marble roller coasters and tested the speed of the marbles.

Currently the girls are working on creating their own digital stories using digital cameras and PowerPoint.  They are excited to finish their biographical movies and share them with the group!

In the upcoming months the girls at Washington Manor will have visits from engineers at Intuitive Surgical as well as alumnae from UC Berkeley.  They will also get the chance to design their own websites when they visit the eBay campus in December.  There is a lot of fun in store for Techbridge girls at Washington Manor.
