Caitlin is an experienced STEM educator passionate about designing science learning that is accessible, engaging, and empowering for all learners, especially those from traditionally marginalized communities. As Manager of Educator Training and Support, she prioritizes the needs and experiences of educators, recognizing the significance of their work for girls in their communities.
Prior to her role at Techbridge Girls, Caitlin was a dual language science teacher, STEM grant coordinator, and Blended Learning Specialist. In these roles, she designed and implemented curricula in both English and Spanish, coordinated site-wide events, and trained staff members on best practices for technology implementation. She has extensive knowledge in social-emotional learning, curriculum development, bilingual education, and science literacy.
Caitlin holds a B.S. in Biology and a Master of Education from the University of California, San Diego. During her free time she enjoys practicing yoga and spending time in nature hiking, camping, and backpacking.
