Expanding Your Horizons

EYHN powered by TBG

Given the unprecedented spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) across the U.S., Techbridge Girls’ Expanding Your Horizons (EYH) conferences are following the direction of our federal and state governments around social distancing and non-essential events. Per the recommendation of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that no gatherings with 50 people or more take place for the next eight weeks, all EYH conferences that were originally scheduled to take place from March 17, 2020 through May 10, 2020 have now been canceled or postponed until after May 10. Please visit your local conference’s website to confirm if your conference has been canceled entirely, or rescheduled to a later date.

The Power of Two+

Expanding Your Horizons (EYH) Conferences and Techbridge Girls Partner to Strive to Reach 1M Girls by 2030 by Enhancing Our Programmatic Strengths Across the Country.

As Techbridge Girls embarks on its bold goal to serve 1M girls by 2030, it sees the EYH conferences as an accelerator to that vision. Expanding Your Horizons’ 45-year history of girl-focused STEM outreach across 43 states serves 25,000 girls annually.

This partnership provides the ability for our organizations to impact the larger girl-serving STEM education field and amplify our collective 50+ years of success and impact. Techbridge Girls understands the rich assets EYH conferences bring to the partnership. These include community partnerships, a cost-effective model, national reach, and passionate and committed volunteers who are so engaged in making a difference in girls' lives year after year. Techbridge Girls can learn from the EYH approach and amplify its promise based on its recent media momentum.
