Mission: Inspiring girls to recognize their potential and pursue opportunities in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM)
Founded: 1974 by a small group of female scientists and mathematicians
Names: Originally, the Math Science Network. In 1982, changed name to Expanding Your Horizons Network
Attendance: Approx. 24,000 girls per year
Distribution: 33 states and three countries including 10 years in Thailand
